Thomas Aquinas College to Open in Northfield

Western Massachusetts will soon be home to another institute of higher education. California-based Thomas Aquinas College—a private, four-year college founded by Catholic lay people in 169—received approval to open a New England campus. The school will be located on the site of the former campus of Northfield Mount Hermon School in Northfield, MA. Thomas Aquinas Admissions Councilor Patrick Cross and Roman Catholic Diocese of Springfield Bishop Mitchell Rozanski spoke about the opening of the school and what it means for Catholic education in western Mass.
