The State We’re In: Bernie Sanders Campaign in Massachusetts

2020 Presidential hopefuls will face their biggest test of this election cycle in just four days: Super Tuesday. On March 3rd, fourteen states—including Massachusetts—will award 1,344 delegates to the candidates. Connecting Point takes a closer look at two of the Democratic candidates trying to win in Massachusetts:  Massachusetts Senator Elizabeth Warren and Vermont Senator Bernie Sanders.

For the past week, a UMass Lowell poll had the two neck-and-neck among Massachusetts’ likely Democratic primary voters. A new poll from WBUR and Mass Inc has Sanders ahead of Warren 25 percent to 17 percent. State Rep. Lindsay Sabadosa Northampton is a co-chair of the Sanders campaign in Massachusetts.
