The Student Loan Bill of Rights legislation is making headway in the Massachusetts legislature. The bill would allow the state to regulate student loan servicers and help borrowers know and understand their rights. It will also allow the state to intervene in the case of a dispute between the borrower and the loan servicers. Carolee McGrath sat down with State Representative Natalie Higgins and State Senator Eric Lesser for an update on the Student Loan Bill of Rights and its chance of passing in the Mass. State Legislature.
