Northampton’s Municipal Voting Age Resolution

Should sixteen-year-olds have the right to vote? Northampton’s City Council thinks so. It has passed a resolution in favor of lowering the voting age to 16 for municipal elections. The city’s Charter Review Commission is currently considering the resolution and other proposals.
