WNEU Poll Explores Allowing Sixteen-Year-Olds to Vote

In the past year, we’ve seen high school students protesting issues like gun violence and climate change. Today’s high schoolers have opinions, but should they have the right to act on them at the ballot box? The latest poll conducted by Western New England University‘s Polling Institute found that, by a 2-1 margin, adults are not in favor allowing sixteen-year-olds to vote. Polling Institute Director Tim Vercellotti shared more about the poll and its results with host Carrie Saldo.
