Western Mass Reacts to the Puerto Rico Earthquakes

On January 7, a 6.4 magnitude earthquake rocked Puerto Rico. Since then, the island continues to experience powerful aftershocks, including a 5.9 magnitude quake over the weekend. The situation in Puerto Rico hits close to home in Western Massachusetts as many families have relatives there. Carolee McGrath sat down with Tony Quinones, Work-based Learning Coordinator for Holyoke High School, high school student Michael Ortiz-Carabayo, and school counselor Laura Vasquez learn more about the impact and how Holyoke is helping those affected by the Puerto Rico earthquakes.
