Southampton Church Bell Rings to Honor Frontline Workers

As a part of Phase 1 for the re-opening of Massachusetts, places of worship can open this week if they comply with new safety and capacity standards. But in the weeks preceding their re-opening, many have done their best to remain a part of their religious communities while house of worship are closed to the public.

They decided to ring their church’s bell, which has stood for nearly 300 years. Connecting Point’s Ross Lippman visited the First Congregational Church and brings us this story.
