Mount Holyoke Professor Leads Lunar Rock Study

This July America celebrated the 50th anniversary of Apollo 11, the first successful landing on the moon. Now, a team of researchers from Mount Holyoke College and UMass Amherst are studying previously untouched samples taken from the moon’s surface during the Apollo mission. Mount Holyoke Profesor Darby Dyar, who is leading the joint research team, spoke with Carolee McGrath about the rare lunar rocks and her work on the study.
