Fall of the Berlin Wall 30th Anniversary Reflection

November 9th, 2019 marked the thirtieth anniversary of the fall of the Berlin Wall. For twenty-eight years, the wall separated East and West Berlin. Cutting through the heart of the German capital, the Wall was also a symbol of communism and the Iron Curtain in eastern Europe. Thomas Maulucci, associate professor and Chair of History at American International College, joins Carolee McGrath to talk about the historic event—and reflect on what the fall of the wall means thirty years later.
