Following a series of explosions last month, Columbia Gas of Massachusetts is working to restore natural gas service to customers in the Greater Lawrence area. But at least two state legislators from western Mass say the company’s response, which has included a $10 million donation to disaster relief, hasn’t been enough. State Senator Eric Lesser has called for a full investigation. Meanwhile, State Rep. Bud Williams wants Columbia Gas to participate in a series of public hearings here in Western Massachusetts.
