The clergy sex abuse crisis continues to make headlines around the world. In the wake of a Pennsylvania grand jury report last August that found credible allegations against more than 300 predator priests, dozens of similar investigations are underway across the country. Here in Western Massachusetts, the Roman Catholic Diocese of Springfield has grappled with its own crisis over the years. Bishop Mitchell Rozanski says the Diocese continues to reach out to victims, expressing sorrow for past failures and vowing to work in preventing future abuse. In an exclusive interview, Connecting Point’s Ray Hershel recently sat down with Bishop Rozanski to talk about what the Diocese being done in the Springfield diocese to help victims of clergy abuse.
