Changing the Massachusetts State Seal with Rep. Sabadosa

New England is replete with Native American names, images, and references. Native American references are found in place names, our schools, and even on the Massachusetts state seal. But for many, the use of Native American imagery or nicknames can be offensive. Former State Rep. Byron Rushing spent several years lobbying the legislature to change the state flag and seal. Now, new legislators are taking up the issue. Connecting Point’s Ray Hershel sat down with State Representative Lindsay Sabadosa to discuss the current efforts to change the Massachusetts state seal.
