Carbon Farming & Silvopasture Combat Climate Change

Silvopasture is the practice of integrating trees, forage, and the grazing of domesticated animals in a mutually beneficial way. At the UMass Stockbridge School of Agriculture, students are learning how the method can help combat climate change. Lisa DePiano and Nicole Burton, lecturers in the Sustainable Food Farming program, joined Carolee McGrath in studio to share more about carbon farming and silvopasture.
