Baby Box Bill Makes Debut in the Massachusetts State House

Fifty years ago, baby boxes —cardboard boxes filled with clothes, toys, diapers, a mattress, and other baby essentials— made waves in Finland after helping provide a solution for sudden infant death syndrome (SIDS). Now, the strategy is being brought back to the forefront with a new bill in the state house proposing a baby box pilot program in Massachusetts.
