Thirty-one days after the start of the new fiscal year, Mass. Governor Charlie Baker finally signed a $43.3 billion state budget into law. The new budget increases spending by 3.3% over last year. In an unusual move, Baker signed the budget without any vetoes. Ray Hershel sat down with State Senator Adam Hinds of Pittsfield and State Representative Lindsay Sabadosa of Northampton to find out what the new 2020 Massachusetts State Budget means for Western Massachusetts.
