North Adams’ DownStreet Art Brings a Colorful Start to Summer

By bringing together cultural organizations from around downtown North Adams, DownStreet Art creates a wide variety of exhibitions, site-specific installations and other arts happenings.

The summer season kicks off on June 28th with a tribute to color—in all its forms. DownStreet Art encourages everyone to don their brightest clothes and help them paint the downtown area in celebration of all things colorful. Michelle Daly, Director of MCLA’s Berkshire Cultural Resource Center, and artist Danny O joined Carrie Saldo to preview the event.
