Hiroshima Survivor’s Unusual Quest Brings Him to Lowell

People gathered in Lowell last month to remember the devastation caused by the first nuclear bomb ever deployed, which the United States dropped on the Japanese city of Hiroshima more than 70 years ago. Many don’t know that several American prisoners of war were among those killed, and as Connecting Point’s Adam Reilly shows us, a Japanese man who dedicated his life to finding those families is spending time with them in the United States, in his first ever visit to the country.
