Voters to Decide Fate of Easthampton New School Plan

Voters in Easthampton will soon decide if the city should move forward with construction of a new school on Park Street. The new school would consolidate over 1,00 students from three elementary schools and the city’s middle school on to one campus. The plan is projected to cost the town $110 million dollars, and not all residents support the project.

Carolee McGrath sat down with Easthampton City Councilor Owen Zaret and Deb Lusnia, a former Easthampton School Committee member, to learn more about the upcoming vote on the Easthampton new school and what it means for the community.
