Trump Tariffs Could Create a Trade War with China

In retaliation for the alleged theft of intellectual property, President Trump has proposed tariffs on 1,300 Chinese products, totaling $50 billion in imports. Recently, the President has talked about imposing new tariffs on an additional $100 billion of imported Chinese products. While the theft of intellectual property is a problem that many agree is destroying jobs, some people worry the additional tariffs could spark trade war with China. Carolee McGrath sat down with John Rogers, Professor of Economics at American International College, to learn more.
