Mahaiwe Performing Arts Center
The history of the Mahaiwe Theater in Great Barrington dates back to 1904 when a coalition of businessmen orchestrated the construction of the Theater as a resource for the community. Today the Mahaiwe Performing Arts Center, has steadily presented a selection of music, dance, theatre, opera, and community discussions. Its year-round schedule enhances the quality of life for all those who reside in and visit the Berkshires.
